What I am still learning

I am still learning that no matter what anyone says, I am still being judged. Even by members of my own family...

- judged because I am not married
- judged because I have no children
- judged because I do not present myself in a corporate manner
- judged because of what is "presumed" to be my financial status
- judged because of the way my apt is decorated
- judged because of my occupational status
- judged because of what folks do not know
- judged because of my choice to not share particular pains
- judged because I do not measure up to what others expect


DOES THE JUDGING EVER END? WHEN WILL I EVER BE ABLE TO BE HAPPY BY JUST BEING ME AND NOT ACHIEVE SOMEONE ELSE'S STANDARD AS TO WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE IN ME BEING ME?

I LIVE FOR THE DAY THAT I CAN JUST BE HAPPY.
