IN THE BEGINNING....
Phi Beta Sigma was founded on the principles of brotherhood, service and scholarship.
After six long years it was determined that Phi Beta Sigma needed something EXTRA. That 'EXTRA' was determined to be SISTERS. ...and thus on January 16, 1920 five young ladies took on the task of creating the GREATEST sorority known to mankind.
On January 16th 1920 the ROYAL BLUE skies of the heavens opened up.
On January 16th 1920 the ROYAL BLUE seas parted.
On January 16th 1920 our heavenly creator BLESSED Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. by saying to all of the brothers...
"I GIVE YOU ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY!"
...and thus a BOND of the blue and white was formed, forever to be known across the land!! A bond never to be broken! A bond that is forever blessed & highly favored! A bond known as....

ON THIS DAY we cherish, reflect and give LOVE to our sorors of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. We wish you a HAPPY 88th FOUNDERS DAY and we say to you that we, the brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity love you all oh so very much. You all are truly the ESSENCE OF FINER WOMANHOOD. I am proud to have the privilege to call you my soror and to have you call me your brother.
